peek-a-boo
my life revolves around juz a few simple words...'work'...'family'...'frens'...'leisure'(onli small % though...heez)...i'm under 'exhausted' mode again...neva felt like tat sch days when sch wrk makes me dizzy...now work wasnt as fascinating or refreshing as claimed...but luckily i got supportive & helpful colleagues...wahaha...tat's y i dun really dread going to wrk except mon(sorry...suffering frm monday blues...) gonna yak on my current working condition...heezok...let's start a few weeks back....the office tat i was located at undergo some renovation (ok...juz add a few big partitions to separate depts)...it's a tiring process cos we got to shift stuff and i realised tat my dept really GOT MANY MANY PAPERS...then i heard tat accts dept had to keep documents for 7 yrs at least...so we actually got papers frm yr 2000...i was pri 6 at tat time(omg)...but there's a gd thing...i got a new seat (& a new phone!)...my own big private space...wahahaz...i sat right at the back & near the pantry...so good...wahahaz...
however...since my desk became bigger...my workload becomes heavier...cos i almost see piles of papers on my desk so i muz keep clearing & clearing...actually my job scope is uncertain...i shld say i'm BKL ('Bao Ka Liao"-means do anything/everything)...but of cos i got to do easy tasks lahz...but lately...my superiors changed job scopes and i actually took over a job scope meant for perm staff!?! so i was really barely hanging these few days...i'm damn 'lost' cos i dunno lots of things...have to keep asking when they're already busy enough...(some of my colleagues are newcomers...can u believe it? i'm the second 'most experienced' accts assistant though i only worked for 4 mths...see the turnover rate?) hahaz...
wat does my job scope includes? dealing with suppliers! ahhh...tat's wat i fear...i thought having my own office phone was cool...cos i got an extention line...hahaz...but i dun feel tat way anymore...cos i always freaked out when the phone rings...cos there'll be ppl asking me 'when are u paying us???' ok...i really cnt give a definite ans...i'm juz a temp (it's already crazy for me to do perm staff wrk liaoz!) lehz...but lucky me...i got super nice superiors who help me out...thank god... :)
my colleagues are nice ppl...i shld say they are like my big sisters who take care of me...feeding me with food...(i can tell u tat office gals can EAT ALOT! office=food paradise)...teaching me stuff...luckily tat our age gap wasnt wide...all of us can communicate easily....and they are really funny...juz earlier today...we chatted abt guys (my ears went huge! interesting! wahah!)
TOPIC: SINGAPOREAN GUYS VS MALAYSIAN GUYS
as most of my colleagues were malaysians...they told me malaysian guys are really nice and sweet towards gal frens (mind u...juz frens not gfs!)...since i know singaporean guys quite well so i made 2 comparisons...
M guys- very generous...seldom make gals pay for their food...so gals got free treats!
S guys- go dutch lahz...obvious
M guys- will fetch gals home and make sure they have safely reached home...(eg...ensure tat u step into the house!)
S guys- err...u can go home urself hor...take care arh...be careful arh...bye bye...
(The above mentioned is based on personal exp...so dun take it to heart...hehez...)
I was practically laughing my heads out on the difference...but maybe malaysian guys are too kind tat shotgun marriages become common...they tend to marry early...but i think i still prefer local guys though they're mean...wahhahaz...
last thurs...went out with ping, dor & ong for dinner at pastamania tampines mall...it's a nice dinner cos we yakked abt interesting stuff...ate pasta (i like!)...wldnt mind if it's gonna be a frequent kind of dinner hangouts...great food! great frens! great hot topics! great fun!
recently...i went crazy over 'Hana Yori Dango' (aka meteor garden) & 'Death Note'...rushed over death note movies...then reliving the fantastic storyline of hana yori anime (my first anime watched!)...damn nice...maybe even nicer than the taiwanese version...cos anime juz rocks...wahaha! go watch hana yori dango anime...it's really nice! as for death note...i like L!
oh ya...i got accepted by a uni! yeah! got offered a place in ntu business (my lst choice!)...congrats to those who got replies from uni...we are being 'accepted'! last time i did dread tat no uni wans me...hahaz...now tat's a relief...but still have to wait for nus reply...before i make the final decision (which i hate to...)...ahhh...not much time left...

good holiday fun
kinda lazy to blog now...hehe...read ong's & shawn's entries on the cameron-genting trip...rather detailed so watever i wanna type...they had taken the first step liaoz...but still...i wanna talk abt a bit on the holiday in my point of view...hehez...went cameron-genting last week with ong, hui, shawn....we took a very nice coach from chinatown to somewhere near genting where we changed to a mini van to continue our journey to cameron first...the whole 'overnight on the bus/van' experience was fun even though it wasnt my first time...cos we were with friends! eating 'tea leaf eggs' at 'mosquito-infested' stop over-yong peng...chit chatting on the van...admiring the star-studded sky...interesting lehz...:)
we reached cameron the next morning...managed to check in to our rooms....and got a great shot of dawn (ok...almost dawn...) the equatorial hotel rooms are quite cosy & well furnished...(wait till u see First World Hotel...it's OMG!) since we only got one day in cameron...we quickly freshened up & had scrumptious breakfast & booked a one full day tour from the hotel (which costs 80RM...my colleagues said was exp!) had a good time sight-seeing...from flowers to cactus, from butterflies to snakes...from tea leaves (boh milk tea not bad lehz! shld buy more!) to honey...the most fun part shld be strawberry plucking! The strawberries are sweet and also sour lohz...but it's cool to pluck pluck pluck...oh ya...at this kind of cooling weather...we shopped at a multicrop mart tat sells cheap cheap flowers!!!! (1 stalk of sunflower costs 2RM ONLY LEHZ...regret not buying!) the dinner was great too....steamboat is the best dinner on a cooling weather like cameron!

affordable steamboat! watashi wa hungry again! aiyahz...still got loads of photos...but i'll upload until here bahz...but the 'fun' doesnt stop here...errie stuff began happening in the hotel room tat very night when ong, me & shawn started to play card games...from freaky winning streaks with the same cards to same cards with same sequence...i wldnt wan to elaborate on tat (i was freaked out!)...juz leave it as a mystery...:)
genting trip was simply excitement...totally a change of mood from the relaxing cameron highlands....cos it's theme park fun! i luuuuuuvvvvvv theme parks! i like to challenge myself by taking on crazy rides...the indoor outdoor theme parks were not bad...finally i went to take the 'Space Shot' ride....it's like falling off from at least ten-storey building...wow...super shiok! the 'spiderman' ride (cldnt rmb the correct name) was super fun too...the swinging ride was fun though i went a bit dizzy after tat...i realised i like 'falling off' rides lahz...haha...i also managed to overcome my fear for pirate ships & bumper cars...hahaz...the bumper car one was hilarious...esp when ong, hui & i went to 'attack' shawn & his vehicle at the same time...hahahz...serves him right lahz...:P
nightlife in genting was cold but bearable...we shopped around the indoor shopping centre...bought horror movie tickets (cheap! only 10RM!) tat starts at 1.30am!?! (we muz be mad at tat time!) so we went back to hotel room to play card games...alright...the hotel room sucks...wldnt wan to elaborate also....ok...the room also looked eerie...i really got goosebumps when hui suddenly said 'though there are only 4 of us...y do i feel tat there are 5 voices in the room?' ok....freaked out again....we nearly forsake the movie but we still went to watch in a sleepy state of mind....in the end we only a few hrs of sleep before we had to return to our home sweet home s'pore!

alright...after a nice holiday...had a nice catch up with ping, dor & ong....met them for a nice mos burger lunch at bugis on sat...happy to see dor cos long time neva see liaoz....she's still pretty as usual...wahahz...ping is sweet & cool as eva...ong no need to say...hahaz...we began to chat on our unpredictable future...hmmm...love relationships (my fave!) (to dor: dun think too much kies! dun give up the whole forest for one tree! hehez) we visited the national library & i borrowed some books tat i seldom borrow...a romance novel written by a guy ( i normally prefer female authors...) & a suspense thriller ( not my cup of tea actually...) we these 4 gals continued our conversation at a tea house...ordering $4.50 bubble milk tea (no diff from sweettalk lehz) juz to find a place to sit...i dunno why...but i like to have gal talk with them...super comfortable...maybe cos we are best jie meiz & we have 7 yrs of long friendship to prove tat! yeah!
